1K EPOXY PRIMER
ColorMatic 1K Epoxy primer is an all-purpose 1K primer that provides excellent adhesion and corrosion prevention on sheet steel, zinc-coated steel, aluminium and anodised aluminium. It is fast drying with good flow and can be applied wet-on-wet. It also offers good insulation against humidity.
It is best to pre-clean metal surfaces thoroughly with silicone remover no. 174469, for fibreglass surfaces use plastic cleaner no.190261. For best results, we recommend using the ColorMatic 2K epoxy primer once the 1K epoxy primer has dried. You can then paint with mixed paints from our water-based mix system or solvent-based mix system.

ENVIRONMENT AND LABELLING
Environmentally compatible: MOTIP DUPLI is committed to apply formulations without restricted or critical ingredients and to achieve best possible performance. The caps and packagings are made of recyclable material.
Disposal: Please mind the residue inside the containers. Completely emptied containers can be used for recycling. If cans are not emptied, they should be disposed off as “special refuse”.
Labelling: All products of MOTIP DUPLI comply with the current status of their labelling regulations. Classification and distinction takes place by the presently legal form of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) or rather by CLP 1272/2008/EG regulations. Our safety data sheets comply with the current form of REACH 1907/2006/EG, article 31 und appendix II,
USING INSTRUCTIONS
Before use, carefully read and observe the warning texts on the label!
APPLICATION
- Remove all rust from metal surfaces
- Clean surface with ColorMaticsilicone remover no. 174469, then sand
- Clean glassfibre surfaces with ColorMaticPlastic Cleaner antistatic no. 190261
- Shake the can well for 2 minutes
- Carry out test spray
- Damaged area must be free of grease, dust and dry
- For professional use only
- Wear an appropriate respirator (recommended type A2/P3)
